Procrastination

I am working today. There are several things I ought to be doing and for some strange reason I can’t bring myself to settle down. Telling myself to “Just get on with it!” doesn’t seem to be cutting the potatoes (not that I want to cut potatoes either!).

So far (in avoidance) I have started this blog, played 2 games of spider solitaire on my phone, checked facebook about 30 times and checked out the synopsis for the Opera I’m going to see this evening (my annual Opera experiment – some are great, others are abysmal – I have my fingers crossed for this evening’s attempt).

It shouldn’t be difficult to do what I need to do. I just have to review my notes from 2 weeks ago (assuming I can decipher them), and start typing up my report into the somewhat complicated IT system which tracks these things. “Easy” I hear you say! Yes okay – of course it is. That’s why I’ve been putting it off all day.

Right – I am procrastinating no longer. Monitoring report – here I come… 🙂
